This seems to be an issue with store bought systems.
For some reason it seems that XP will sometimes embed its own
information into the 'hard drive information area' and some have
had to wipe the entire drive and do a complete reinstall. Some have
able to tweak lilo. I'll finish later, I'm so very very sleeeeee.....
