I thought I would tell you a little about myself without making it sound like a resume.
I've been using computers since 1982 with my first Commodore 64,32k rom 32k ram, 664BYTE disk
drive and a 300bps modem. I remember getting my first 1 MEG drive and had more storage that I
could use. Forget about it when I got my 1200bps modem. Some of you old BBS guys may remember
to boards I used to run called The Mickey Mouse Club and The Espionage Underground.
Since then I have been hooked. I worked in a rework enviroment (chip repair on video, modems, and
various other things. Since I have started to learn some codeing, like this site. Which brings
e to this site. I wanted to play with a mail server and a website. I could have had it hosted
somewhere but then I couldn't play with it like I would like. As I use easydns for my domain
name dns entry (how you get a web name insted of the "phone" number). Any how, I wanted to play
around with how to set it all up and do other things. The reason I have decided to keep it and
try to help others is beacuse I fequent the forums of Computing.net abd I kept seeing the same
question over and over again. "HOW DO YOU DUALBOOT XP AND LINUX". I had just happed to have had
to do this where I work, so I wrote the directions that worked for me and told people they
could use it to do it or to look over "my method" and compare it to others. I found that when
I started getting feedback that users where solving other problems with XP. Though I don't
point out many refs to XP it does seem to deal with other issues.
So the site took life and now it will stay. I have about 20 pages most which I wrote.
if I didn't I gave credit to the person, if I know who. Anyway writing this when I should
Thank you for visiting my site. I hope it has either helped you or at least ya got a laugh break
